Marty has a vast background including a successful career as a Fire Captain for the Newark Fire Department. Throughout his time as Fire Captain, he also worked in commercial real estate and owned and operated a prominent irrigation and landscape lighting company in North Jersey.
After Marty’s retirement from the Newark Fire Department, he sold his irrigation & lighting company to focus on his love of real estate. He opened up a new company called Save Our Shores Properties and began purchasing and restoring distressed properties.
As a result of working in home renovations, Marty realized his natural transition into real estate couldn’t be denied. He joined United Real Estate and began his focus on this natural talent of matching clients to their properties. Merging his extensive experience and detailed knowledge of construction and his keen insight to his clients’ wishes makes Marty a stand-out in real estate.
Marty is currently a volunteer for the Point Pleasant Boro Fire Department. He lives in Point Pleasant with his wife, Mary, who works as a music teacher for the Point Pleasant Boro BOE. Marty and Mary are established community members with three adult children and five granddaughters, all who live within one mile of each other.
Marty is the epitome of a true family man. He spends his free time devoted to his family’s needs; usually by cooking them his famous firehouse meals. You will often find him simply enjoying his five grandchildren and three dogs with hikes, beach days, bbq’ s and pool time.
Marty’s is a giver. His business knowledge is evident in his past successes. His unique Fire Captain experience provides understanding of safety in construction. Being a life long resident of Pt Pleasant Beach made selling homes along the shore nothing but a dream job.
